I have grid lines turned off. but when I copy a portion of the file and paste it into Word, the grid lines come back. Is there a way to prevent the grid from showing when pasted into word from the clip board?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
When copy pasting from Excel to Word, Word sets up the data as a table. Word's Table to Text menu item will convert it to text.
