Group By Values

I have a Column 'A' with the following (sample) values:

I need to group these data by:

0-2= ????
3-4= ????
5-6= ????
7-8= ????
...etc and goes on till 1000

How do i make this.... ?

i have already got the group Values created on Column 'B' as:
0-2
3-4
5-6
7-8

If you create a pivottable on your data you should be able to group that field with a step-size of 2

I used this method:

=COUNTIFS(A1:A51,">=0",A1:A51,"<=2")

Select your data, choose Insert, Pivot table. Drag the first field to the row area, drag that same field to the sigma area. In the pivot, right-click the numbers on the right and set it to Count instead of SUM. Right-click in the row area of the pivot, choose Group. IN the "On" box (the last box) enter 2.
