I need to sort a file that has multipule "rows" that belong together, so if I sort by column A, the rows do not stay together as needed. Is there any way to tell Excel that a group of cells are to be treated at 1 cell or sorting purposes? Thanks in advance for any help.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

By adding an extra column with the grouping class info & sorting on that first
