I am using Excel 2007. I need to create several groups of columns in a spreadsheet. It allows me to group columns A, B & C. When I try to create a separate group with columns D, E & F, is adds it to the first group with A, B & C. How do I create separate groups of columns on the same spreadsheet?

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.

As far as I know it isn't possible. One reason is that the +/- expander/contracter symbol occupies the next column after the grouped ones. That would interefere with the next set of grouped columns if there wasn't a spare one.

The seperator column can be hidden, if the screen real estate is at a premium.
It certainly can be hidden - but with some impact on usability since you cannot then readily access the +/- symbol. Not too hard to collapse an individula group as you can click its horizontal line but once collapsed, it is difficult to expand an individual group since you then have no access to the grouping graphics at the top.
