Hi is there a way of copying just the cell interior color from a cell that has conditional formatting in it.
I want to copy the cell from one workbook book1 to cell C3 in book2 that hasn't got conditional formatting.

Anyone help :)

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
no, conditional formating doesnt colour the interior of the cell, but meerly masks it.
in order to colour something else the same you would need to use the same method as in the condition

eg if condition in workbook 1 = if cell is greater than 10
in woukbook 2 the interior colour macro would need to be if workbook 1!A1 is greater than 10 etc for it to work
