Handling print preview cleanly with beforeprint event handler

Hi! I've tried trapping printing as per the thread "Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean) ...how about AfterPr" at http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-...reprint-cancel-boolean-how-about-afterpr.html.

As mentioned in the thread, the same code runs for both Print and Print Preview, which can be problematic. The thread ends with no solution to this problem.

Reading other threads on the forum, it sounds like if I really want to handle Print and Print Preview well it would be best to create my own print functions and perhaps have the users invoke them from a menu/button. Sound right?

Oh, by the way, I'm using Excel 2010.
