Is there a way to define that the lowest value or highest value on a chart be called out when it's graphed? I know I can have the values shown, but I have tons of data points that will be changing --- so I want to automatically show that value. Is there something on the Scale or Chart Options that allows for this?

Thanks,
Sean

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
See the sample sheet. The data is in column A and B. Add two more columns C and D with the formulas given therein. It is enough type or copy paste the formula in C1 and copy down by double clicking the right bottom of the cells with bold +s sign
Similarly do for column D.

Now use chart wizard
Step 1 choose (xY) scatter chart
Step 2 choose series at the top
Click add
X values column A
Y values column B
Click add
X values column A
Y values column C
Click add
X values column A
Y values column d

Click ok ok to get the chart either as embedded chart or in separate sheet.

The second and third series will be points in different color (mostly red and yellow)
Right click red point right click format data series and choose style and color
Similarly repeat for the third series.

You can experiment with line chart also. if there are more than one points whiich are maximum or minimum there will be lines in the second or third series also. this line can be removed by going to pattern and change lines to none.
