Help again with formula

Hi,
I have this formula in a cell =SUM(P2:S2)/40/2 but I need to add to it and don't know how. What I need is for the cell to never be greater than .40,

so if the formula =SUM(P2:S2)/40/2 is equal to or below .40 use the result of the formula, but if the result of the formula is greater than .40 use .40 in the cell.

You can try...
supposed
[A1]=SUM(P2:S2)/40/2

then..
[B1]=if(A1>.40,.40,A1)
