Hi,

I am struggling to create an excel formula, i need to create a formula to put numbers into bandings.

The bandings are:

Under 120 = Band 1
121-145 = Band 2
146-170 = Band 3
171-195 = Band 4
196 + = Band 5

The numbers will be in one col, I need the banding in the next col.

Any advice? Thanks

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Try this:

="Band "&MATCH(A1,{0,121,146,171,196},1)
