Hi everyone

I want to make a spreadsheet with my suppliers on, and the prices which they charge me for. I want to make it so that The cheapest prices the cell highlights in Green and the most expensive are highlighted in red. Any ideas how i would be able to do this would be greatly appericated

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
You should post an example of what your data looks like. You could create a separate column that shows the MIN/MAX value for each supplier, then use conditional formatting.

If you have Excel 2007 or later, you can also use a PivotTable conditional format to get the visual you're looking for. In any version, PivotTable also allows you to perform pretty sophisticated analyses, including highest/lowest values.

After you build your worksheet, select the cells you want to highlight, then on the Home tab click Conditional Formatting and play around.
