Help! Delete a character in a cell

Hi All,
I have a cell type General with this number/string 1.000.000

I need to remove all "." (dots). In this case I need to have 1000000.

Any help will be well appreciated.

I find Replace end substitute functions but without success.

Hi! Thanks for the quick reply and for the suggestion. Is it possible to apply the formula on the same cell?

This to avoid to copy and paste the values from a column/cell to another cell.

Select column, search for . and replace with (nothing) then replace all
