Hi All,

Let me first preface that yes working on Mac Excel is less than ideal and all of my problems could have been solved with slicers. Now I am having issues trying to build a dynamic dashboard that would make my life alot easier. Here is whats going on:

  • I am trying to create a template that would read from the first criteria which is Country (30 Countries and Counting)
  • After that the user would have to pick the dates (all dates are in monthly format, 36 Months)
    • This is broken out into three years for Year over Year analysis
  • An automated pull of the desired criteria in three separate sheets by year (2015, 2014 & 2013)
    • This is to do YoY analysis but again not sure if there is a better way
  • An automated dashboard sheet that reads off of each of the separate sheets (mostly Index Match & Sumifs)

I feel like the current track I am on will have me writing up multiple nested IF statements, Just dont want to over complicate things!

Also, I have done this off of Pivot reports before but it took me forever to complete the dashboard by country.

Please any feedback or ideas are helpful!
