HELP! Extremely slow excel file

Hello,

I'm working with an excel file from the Ministry of Housing of Spain. I downloaded it but it is extremely slow to work with. I have set the calculation options to manual but it doesn't improve speed.

Hello

The slowness is due primarily to the exclusive use of formulas.
A possible alternative is to create VBA code to replace the formula calculations as to lighten the work and the time of recalculation.
Currently, the paper does not use any VBA code.

What level of knowledge of VBA code ...

Actually I found out it works fine in Excel 2002. A friend of mine says it also works fine in Excel 2010. However in Excel 2007 it takes about 5 minutes to input a field... very annoying...
