I'm using Excel 2002. I'm trying to apply a conditional format to highlight the cell with the highest value from multiple columns and rows. So far I've not had any luck. Please help. Thank you.
I've tried that previously and it's not working. The data I have is in 3 columns and multiple rows. I'm trying to find the highest value of the 3 columns.

You've put that formula in a condition in a range where cell A1 is the active cell, and it doesn't highlight the cell(s) with the maximum value? If so, there must be something else going on, since that works (and Richard followed up with the syntax for evaluating the entire columns).
