Ok, so I have been working in Excel for over a decade and this is a first for me.... I am currently working in 2007 and I have a spreadsheet that calculates fuel usage by currency (one line for each day and totaled at the end of the month).
The fuel charge can be something like 3.275890 while the gallons will typically be something like 45.2. Now, I want to know how much 45.2 gals at 3.275890 is in real dollars. So, I do the formula and come out with $148.07 BUT my problem comes in when I try to add these totals up at the end of the month.
Becuase it is Rounding to give me the 148.07 in currency format but excel still knows that it is actually 148.0702280, I am always off a few pennies at the end of the spreadsheet, even though, it is showing the correct amounts on the screen.... Is there a checkbox I have missed in the options somewhere that will correct this problem???
Help Please!!!!!!
