Help... how to unprotect a text box in a protected and share

I tried to unprotect the text box by <cntl>click on text box then going to >format>text box>protection and unlocking both the box and text.

It didn't work. I still cannot edit the text box when it is protected and shared.

Is there an easy way to do this?
