# Help - I am Stuck - Match 4 Cells against table and return adjacent value

Hi all,

I have been trying to work out the best way to get the answer from my little problem below. I either get a whole table or #error/#N/A

so starting from scratch

below is what I am trying to work out

Row 1 = A1 , B1 , C1 , D1 = (each cell contains a letter for example A1=A, B1=B, C1=C, D1=D

Row 2 to Row 12

Column A = contains one letter in each cell - either A, B or C
Column B = contains one letter in each cell - either B, C or D
Column C = contains one letter in each cell - either C, D or E
Column D = contains one letter in each cell - either D, E or F

Now I would like to match Row 1 (or Ideally just the cells) with the table below for a match

once a match has been found I want to return the value in Column F which corresponds to the matched Row

so,

Row 1 = A, B, C, D

Table

B,C,D,A
C,D,A,B
A,B,C,D
A,B,D,A

Column F

A
B
C
D

so my answer should be "C"

I know this is probably a really easy one to answer but I am running out brain cells.

Appreciate everyone's help as always

### Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
