I need to compute my grades.
I have a quiz average of 86 this is 20% of my final grade

I have a Midterm which is 80 this is 20 % of my grade

I have homework which is 70, this is 10% of my grade

And my final is 80, this is 30% of my grade.

Help!! I need a formula.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Don't you just need to multiply each score by its percentage weighting, and sum the results? That gives a score out of 80 (sum of percentages) in your scenario.

It seems that a piece might be missing from your data.(if you have a 100% base to work with)...anyway as Andrew stated the calculation totals only 80%...this is how i would have set it up Were you looking for one formular to handle the entire operation?

Where's the other 20%?
The above scores only account for 80% to your credit. I hope this isn't math class.
