HELP NEEDED : FOR UPDATING DATA

Hello, Pls help me. There are two files. ddmmyy.xls (file1) & companies (file2). File1 has share values of different companies on a particular date in a single sheet rowwise. File2 has n number sheets representing companies with its share value data for last one month (date wise). I want to update file2 automatically, for a particular date so that all sheets shows stock prices for that day. But the data of the previous days should not be altered. The updation of the records should be at the end of the data.
