Hi i hope some can help, i work for an electrical company and as part of my job i have to print out hundreds of stickers that are numbered 1 - however many items a company has got, well something has gone wrong with the mailmerge that we use and i haven't got a clue what, so i'm hoping someone can help
below is part of an excel work sheet it has the numbers on that we use to number the stickers
it goes from 1 - 43 on the first row ,then on the second row it starts 36-78 then starts another row from 78 and carries on down the sheet into the 5 thousands.
In a word document we have a template of the stickers, 21 to a sheet. what normally hapeens is when we do the mail merge it merges the numbers on the excel sheet with the stickers in word. it still does that now but will only start on the second row starting at 36 rather than number one
If anyone has any ideas i would be eternally greatful.
I will try to show you an example in a post below.

thanks nikki

Have you gone back in to adjust the Mail Merge? It's possible that Word now sees your first row as a header row and is excluding it.

Hope that helps,

Hi
i tried that but it still starts at 36
you'd think with another row above it would start at number 1 but it doesnt.
