Hi

We have a new function system for our hotel that enables us to merge the data into an excel function sheet for distribution to the relevant departments.

In cell C6 is the field for the type of function (i.e. Conference, Wedding, Wake etc.). There are about ten types in total.

I would like to be able to put a coloured border around the entire sheet (A1:I55) depending on the function in C6?

i.e. conference - light blue, wedding - pink etc.

Thanks in advance

Clive

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
How many different colors would you want? Does each event get its own color? Or will some have the same?

Excel 2003 does not support having more than three conditional formats. It might be possible to do with VBA though.
