Hi guys, im new here, and learning excel and came across this page and i hope someone can help me out.

Here's the problem, in New Zealand we round to the tenth.

For example: $1.44 round round to $1.40 and $1.45 would round to $1.50.

How would i make excel round the number i get from a formula to the nearest tenth?

Thank you in advance :D

Wow, so simple i swear i tired this round function but it never came out.
Just another question do i have to use a whole new cell to round that or is it possible to make it automatically round up/down within it's own cell

If you just want it to appear as 1.4 or 1.5 then you can simply format the cells to 1 decimal place, but if you want to use them in calculations as 1.4 or 1.5 then you would need to use the formula in another cell.
