Just going round in circles at the moment trying to sum two cells with an isblank formula.

Spreadsheet is for costing a trip and to save duplication, a link has been established to automatically record details entered in another sheet within the same workbook (columns C to I ).
You will note I want to record a total for cells in columns F and J, and the way I have gone about it is creating the problem.
It will work if i enter details for both fuel (column F) AND per day ex fuel (column J) but there will be occasions when I will only enter details for only one of these columns.

The spreadsheet below shows the problem

Any help appreciated once again

Thanks Peter, That works fine.

However, I forgot to mention I was trying to elimine "0" where there is no data in columns existed.
That is how I came up with the isblank formula.

Any suggestions.
