After trying to figure this out on my own and reading page after page of help messages, I am unable to do what I need to do!!! So, please help. Let me explain what I am wanting to do.
First of all, here is my first spreadsheet:
I work at a box manufacturing plant, and we want to track our production with this new spreadsheet. We would track orders that were being run on certain machines (Haire D/C, Seiko D/C, & Gluers). Once, the order is done on the machine, it would then be shipped.
It will be filled in row by row based on the headers. All columns will be filled out every morning, except for the last two (Actual Start Time & Actual Stop Time). Once an order is completed, the last two columns will be filled in, and once the last column (Actual Stop Time) is filled in, I want that row transferred to this spreadsheet:
As you can see, the shipping schedule spreadsheet does not have all the columns that the production schedule contains. So, I only want to transfer from the first spreadsheet (Production Schedule) the columns shown in the 2nd spreadsheet. So, row 7 on the 1st spreadsheet would transfer to row 6 on the 2nd spreadsheet (only transferring the data corresponding to the headers on the 2nd spreadsheet). Also, once the "Actual Stop Time" cell is filled in, and the data is transferred to the shipping spreadsheet, that row of data would be removed from the 1st spreadsheet.
Is this even possible with Excel? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been trying to figure this out for about a month now without success!!! Thank you in advance.
