Help with a countif please :(

I have 2 columns and I simply need to identify how many are due within the next 30days if not ticked completed?

Can someone help please? I tried =COUNTIFS(B:B,<>"√",A:A,">="&TODAY()+0,A:A,"<="&TODAY()+30)

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try
Excel Formula: 
=COUNTIFS(B:B,"<>√",A:A,">="&TODAY(),A:A,"<="&TODAY()+30)
