Hello,
I need help with a macro or automation code for a scheduled extraction from a website (can provide link if wanted) and then cleansing the output into usable form with only the data I need (the data is unicode txt and pretty crappy, plus while size of the data varies so the entire page has to be copied - UGH) and then email the excel file at a set time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
here is the link:
http://www.jims.hctx.net/jimshome/jimsreports/jims503.htm
I need all the data down to the portion that reports the shift info.
The data is refreshed online every day at 2:30 am.
Often times, the columns will shift off wrong even with it is pasted into xls as unicode text and then text to columns is run.
I have to add one more column than they name - I split last name and first name & initial into 2 fields instead of one (can use the comma for that).
After it is in xls, I insert another column at A called "report date" and put the date in (usually using =today() )
Other than that the columns are pretty self explainatory.
I would like to have it email out apx 40 minutes after the web extraction so 3:15am apx.
With a naming convention of 503_MMDDYYY.xls
Any help would be great!

The booking data is in sets of 23 rows. Do you want it as it is or do you want it in a continous range.

Also, Booking data continues till it encounters shift data. But there is Booking data present after the shift data is over. Do you require that as well?

no, i just need the data up to the point whre the shift data is present. after that it refers to something else that I don't need.
I would want it as a continous range.
Thanks!
