Hi,

I need assistance in making a formula.

This is the way my worksheet looks like....
A B C D E F G
Before After
1 AB1 1001 10.5 AB1 1001 10.1
2 AB2 1001 11.2 AB2 1001 11.1
3 AB3 1001 11.3 AB3 1001 11.3
4 AB1 1002 15.3 AB1 1002 15.1
5 AB2 1002 19.7 AB2 1002 12.4
6 AB3 1002 20.0 AB3 1002 16.2

What Im trying to find out is what is the difference between the numbers.
Typically I use a vlookup but in this case I dont know how since There is two cells that must match (A & B) with (E & F)

so the answer for AB1 is 10.5-10.1= .4
*there is thousands of rows that i will be working with and they are not in any typical order.

Excel Facts

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
IF You concatenate cells A & B and concatenate E & F then Vlookup using the concatenated fields. Let me know if this does not make sense.
