This will be easy for most of you, but I haven't messed with Access in quite some time.

I have a table with about 20 different fields. I would like to query on the Name field by allowing the user to select which name they would like to report on. Can someone help me with how to tell a query which condition such as Name that I want?

TIA

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
In the Criteria section of the Name field, enter...

[Enter a Name Please]

Anything in [] (brackets) in the Criteria field will prompt the user for input.

You could also make a form (We'll call it FORM1) with a Combo Box (called COMBO1) on it. Have the combo box link to the name field on your table. Then make a button that opens your query. In your query under the field name criteria put: [forms]![FORM1]![COMBO1]

That way they can select the name instead of having to know it.
