I dont know if i'm looking at this correctly but i require help with a =if statement<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

In cell b2 i have the hrs that a person works and in cell c2 are the calculated hrs (worked out with a =sum equation) that show as 0.0 at the moment

i tried entering an if equation ==IF(C2>B2,"PLUS",IF(C2<B2,"MINUS",IF(C2=0,""))

##seems to be a problem showing the equation please see edit reason for equation used##

I receive the answer minus and i want it to default to blank then do what i require

the only work around i can see is to use two different cells one for minus and one for plus
any help fixing this would be gratefully appreciated

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
You shouldn't really need the 3rd IF, as if the formula should get that far, it means the first 2 conditions haven't been met and the only way that's possible is if it's a zero. Maybe the sum is not equating exactly to zero, have you checked it to say 8 or 10 decimal places?

=IF(C2 > B2,"PLUS",IF(C2 < B2,"MINUS",""))

Formulas should post okay if you put spaces around the greater than/less than symbols.
