I believe this may be a simple question but I have a list of values which show delivery date variances against a target date which also shows the month, ie

Variance Month
1 July
-2 July
0 July
3 July
0 July
1 Aug
0 Aug
6 Aug

I am only interested in calculating the average of on time deliveries and would lik eto apply that any date with a +/- 1 day of 0, ie 0 days are exact delivered on time I would consider as being a hit. All otherdays outside this range woudl be considred a miss. I would then like to calculate as a % all of the deliveries which are a hit so I can start & track/graphically show our ontime deliveries for each months worth of deliveries.

Thanking anyonefor their anticipated support.

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
I would make another column with a formula like this :-
=IF(A1-B1=0,"hit","miss")

It is then easy to have a formula to calculate the number of hits and misses eg. COUNTIF()
