Help with conditional formatting

I am working on a spreadsheet in Office excel 2007 where I have values that repeat in the cells below, I want to use conditional formatting to make them invisable, but when I use the Format Duplicate Values, it makes all values that are the same invisable.
EX...
$203.00
$260.00
$77.00 --- want to keep this
$77.00 ---make these invisable
$77.00 ---

Please help

Welcome to the board

For ex., with the values in column A, starting in A2, down, select A2 and use the formula

=COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2)>1

in the conditional formatting. Copy the format to the cells below.
