Help with CONVERT a list of numbers from ounces to pounds

Can someone help me understand how to convert a whole list of numbers at one time? I see how to do it one cell at a time, but can't figure out how to enter "number" to do a whole column at once. I assume it has to be possible....

I'm using Excell on a Mac.

add another column called pounds as the header and put this in the first cell: ="cell where ounces is found"/16... then copy this down to the bottom of your sheet, or double click on the bottom right corner of the cell you just entered and it will auto-fill the rest.

Aha! Thanks bclaredal! I figured out how to do it still using the CONVERT function, but only after your tip to make the second column and follow it down. Stupidly, I was trying the put in the range instead of just one cell. Thanks for getting me in the right direction!
