Working with dates is not a strong point with me.
I am having trouble getting a fromula to count the number of times dates (days) appear in a column
The column has dates displayed as
Mon-7-10-02
Tues-8-10-02
Tues-8-10-02
Wed-9-10-02
Thurs- 10-10-02
Thurs- 10-10-02
Fri-11-01-02
And so on I am would be very greatful if I could get a soulution to my problem a DATE BASED countif or any fromula to count (the hard part) the number of days that are on the list only counting days that are on the list twice as 1 entry i.e. a count on the the above list would =5

Thanks for any Replies

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Probably the easiest way would be to do a pivot table, with a count on the date field.
