Hi folks! Great site! I'm certain it will prove to be a very useful tool. Thanks!

:confused: I'm very frustrated and need some help.

I have created a spreadsheet listing documents that have been filed with various Secretaries of State. In the last column of my spreadsheet I provide the expiration and/or renewal dates - "action items".

What I am TRYING to do is as I approach such expiry/renewal dates I want the cells to either turn RED or flash to "ALERT" me that the date is 5, 10, 15 days away and will need to "take action".

I found the following formula online, but it doesn't work:
=IF(N24<(TODAY()+15)," ALERT: DUE DATE","")

ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Thank you SO MUCH for your help!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi Winginit,

Take out 2nd & 5th parentheses will work

=IF(N24< TODAY()+15," ALERT: DUE DATE","")
