I posted here and got some help, but not exactly what I need:
https://www.excelforum.com/excel-general/1248831-dynamicaly-linked-cells-based-on-the-month.html#post4989975

I will do my best to explain what I need

My company went to a monthly calendar reporting period with 12 reporting periods vs. 13 4-week accounting periods(previously), therefore the need to go from 4-weeks to a monthly 5-week spreadsheet. Looking at a calendar, there will be at least 3 full weeks and 2 partial weeks. Our week ends every Friday. Sat.-Fri. I am trying to dynamically link the days of each week to the appropriate month. So looking at Oct., the first week will comprise of Mon.-Fri(I want the Sat. & Sun. columns to show blank, then 3 full weeks of Sat.-Fri, and one more partial week of Sat.-Wed. with Thur. & Fri. columns showing blank. That is what I need for 5 weeks on my sheet. I will create a combobox, but until I can figure out how to get the correct formula, I just hard-coded in the month and the year. Once I get the formula figured out, I will use comboxes for both the years and the months for user to choose.
Any help with this will be much appreciated as I have been trying to figure this out for over a week.
I don't have a "URL", so I don't know how to add an image.
