Hi,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I would like to display a set of rates using a bar chart and then show a series of benchmarks as lines. The thing is, the lower the rate the better and the benchmarks will be lower the bar rates and our goal is to decrease the rates. Example,

Week one calorie intake was 2500 and the national average is 1500 and the regional average is 1000. The lower the calorie intake the better. What is the best way to chart this?
I'm not even sure if the proper way to state this request is calling it "invert charting"

thanks for you consideration

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Combined Bar charts and Line Charts are possible, just add both data series and then change the chart type of one of the series to a line.

It might be better if you post a few samples of data if you need help.
