Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting on a forum so I apologise if I have posted into the wrong thread.

I am on Excel 2013.

For examples sake:

I have financial information on tab 1.
I have 3 uniquely named embedded Excel documents on tab 2.
I want to create multiple links from tab 1 to information contained within my embedded Excel documents on tab 2.

My issue is that I can only create a single link as while the embedded Excel documents are uniquely named they are all referred to as =EMBED("Document",""). Therefore, each time I create a new link it overwrites the previous link.

The only solution I could come up with is to open all the embedded worksheets in tab 2 which Excel names =EMBED("Document"1""), =EMBED("Document"2""), =EMBED("Document"3"") before creating the links therefore creating distinction between the embedded documents and allowing me to create multiple links.

However, this is not a viable solution as in reality I have far too many embedded Excel documents to open at once.

Any solutions you can offer would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

All the best!
