Help with files opening automatically - solved!

The background is that I only use macros for a few limited files to save me some time spent on monotonous clicking. Well, yesterday I made three little macros that clear the info in three weekly files and save each with a new date (in preparation for me adding the new info). When I left yesterday, the macros worked as intended. I come in to work this morning, and each of those files now open automatically whenever I open any other file in Excel (just for the first one, nothing happens if I open a second).

Does anyone have a guess as to what I did? The three macros are all contained in a single module in my personal.xls file.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Do a search for folders named "XLSTART" and see if any of the files have accidentally been saved in there. That would cause them to open whenever excel is opened.

Thank you!

Thank you for your suggestion! Those three files had been listed in my xlstart folder along with my personal.xls file. I'm guessing that my first versions of the macros unintentionally saved them there.

No problem. I presume that you have now removed them from your XLSTART folder and everything is now in order.
