Help with forcasting

Hi everyone
Can anybody help with this, I'm a complete excel rookie trying to show a rolling average forecast into 2005 (b9:g12) but want can other formula can I use to show the figures decreasing and not just averaging?

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)

I'm a little confused. By "rolling average", how many months do you want to average? (e.g. January 2005 = the average of the 3? prior months).

What do you mean by "to show the figures decreasing and not just averaging"?

Also, as a suggestion, your data will be easier to manipulate, particularly with rolling averages, if you have both years side by side (e.g. put B8 into N3 etc.)

I have figures for the whole of 2004 and I want to show a forcast of say 5 months into 2005 of these figures droping but if I show an average (which I think I've done) the figures in 2005 will not be any lower.
Also Point taken, I do have 2004 and 2005 all on the same rows but I thought it would be easier to see on the message board.
