I am working with inventory data and wanted to see if someone could help me with the data. I have data that is pulled from a central database in Workbook 1 that contains serial numbers, barcodes, ect. I the same/similar data that was gathered physically of all the equipment in workbook 2. What I need to be able to do if at all possible is match the serial numbers from Workbook 1 and 2 then identify any discrepancies. What I would like if at all possible is something along the lines of 3rd Workbook that has all the serial numbers and possibly a cell or two like the barcode next to it that is color coded like:

If in Workbook 1 and 2 = Green
If in Workbook 1 not 2 = Red
If in Workbook 2 not 1 = Yellow

The reason I want the color coding is this will tell me and my team mates what is missing from the database. The database is not one we have much access or rights to, we are only able to pull data out and put data in.

Is that even possible? The current workbooks are like the following:

Workbook 1:
Is raw data pulled from a Database that has columns A – E
Column A is the Serial number and B – E are descriptions of a/the item
Workbook 1 has 276 rows

Workbook 2:
Is data pulled from the physical equipment and has columns A – E
Column A is the Serial number and B – E are descriptions of a/the item
Workbook 2 has about the same number of rows as Workbook 1, I need to roll up the numbers to verify.

Any help or point in the right direction would be most helpful, Thanks in advance!
