Help with locking and unlocking and drawing

Hi all

I have to lock some cells in a work sheet. When i have done this, and selected protect work sheet (allow users to access unlocked cells) the drawing functions (including insert picture, shapes etc) are all greyed out and can not be accessed. Even in the unlocked cells.

Trouble is I need to access these functions.

Any ideas?

try when protecting the sheets unticking the Objects box in the protection screen

this should sort it

When you Protect make sure that you Check the "Edit Objects" CheckBox!
