Could someone help with some excel vb. I want to try and do 2 things. First is to recalculate / update a sheet every (x) seconds. The second is to hide columns that have #N/a errors in. The hide request will need to happen whenever 1st point updates the sheet.

Many Thanks in Advanced.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Recalculate/update in what way precisely?

What are you expecting to change in the seconds between recalculations?

Have a look at the OnTime method in VBA help. You could specify a macro to run at a specified time, and all that macro would do is recalculate and set the time for the next run.

I have a spreadhseet with time going across the x axis and it also has a clock (Using the =now()) formula in cell A2. When the cell A2 is greater than the time value in each column I want it to hide that column. For this to work I need to have the spreadsheet update itself so the clock updates. Once updated I know which columns can be hidden to which I then want the columns to hide automatically... If that makes any sense...

Oh right. If that's all that's supposed to change, then I'd recommend the OnTime method as I first suggested.
