Hello

In a worksheet cell G131 I have this formula

=ROUND(MEDIAN(J131,L131),0)

I want to use solver to change the "J" and "Q" values to find a specific result

eg

if 10 is entered in cell J1 then and 12 is entered in cell K2 then the resulting formula in G131 would be similar to:
=ROUND(MEDIAN(J131,L131),0)

if 2 is entered in cell J1 then and 3 is entered in cell K2 then the resulting formula in G131 would be similar to:
=ROUND(MEDIAN(B131,C131),0)

if 1 is entered in cell J1 then and 2 is entered in cell K2 then the resulting formula in G131 would be similar to:
=ROUND(MEDIAN(A131,B131),0)

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
I am confused with the frming of your question

I want to use solver to change the "J" and "Q" values to find a specific result

How is Q related ?

if 10 is entered in cell J1 then and 12 is entered in cell K2 then the resulting formula in G131 would be similar to:
=ROUND(MEDIAN(J131,L131),0)

If you enter values in J1 and K2 so what values should change. How are those two cell linked with J131 and L131.

Please explain

Sorry revised question !!

In a worksheet cell G131 I have this formula

I want to use solver to change the "J" and "L" values to find a specific result

eg

if 10 is entered in cell J1 then and 12 is entered in cell L1 then the resulting formula in G131 would be similar to:
=ROUND(MEDIAN(J131,L131),0)

if 2 is entered in cell J1 then and 3 is entered in cell L1 then the resulting formula in G131 would be similar to:
