I have an excel coding related question
I have a list of names,
and in that list there are a couple of repeating names
eg: have the name Ben 6 times and the name Dan 2 times
how do I turn that list into a new list where names do not repeat?
(Don't mind using VBA Macro, I just dunno how to code)

Thanks in advanced, Ben Benedek.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Umm thanks for the quick reply,
I was wondering though if it was possible to do using code,
meaning, not manually...

Any idea?

I'm asking this question for a friend, I am a total newbie to Excel,
I don't have it on my computer, nor have I ever used Excel or
any Microsoft product. :>

If possible I'll need farther explenation, thanks again.

Select the Column Label. Excel ToolBar: Data - Filter - Advanced Filter...
Then Check the Unique Records only box. If your column has a Label you may get a warrning, just click OK, if you do not have a label on your column and you get a warrning click No or countinue.
