Help with stacked graph and multiple data columns

Hi All,

I’m after some assistance with setting up a stacked graphbut I need 3 columns per each month representing the different years. The stackedgraph is preferred as I’m needing to show answered calls and Abandoned callsgiving the total received when added together.


I’m havingy issues that when I add them they just combine into1 stack. This will be an ongoing reports so after a solution that isn’t timelyand easy to manage JIf there’s a better graph to manage this happy to look at it too. Thanks heapsfor any advice in advance.

You cannot make this graph natively in Excel AFAIK.
However a small trick can do it for you I think.
Basically you have two data sets to show - CR and AB.
Excel graphs have the ability to show two sets of data on two different value axis - primary and secondary. The bars shown on the secondary are shown on top (or above the bars on the primary axis.
let's say the number of total calls is TC=AB+CR. Basically you have to do is show CR on the secondary axis, and TC on the primary axis, but using a Clustered column layout.

you will have to do some small data adjustment to make it work - instead of AB you will need TC data (AB+CR).
The one thing to be careful about is to set the MAX axis value manually and make it the same for both axis.

Also make sure the gaps and overlapping are the same for all series.
