I have a list of over 1000 different numbers, both positive and negative. I am looking for the combination of probably 10-20 of these numbers that equal -$26763.59. Is there some function or way that Excel can pull only those numbers out of the 1000 that summed together equal the -$26763.59? Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
you could always custom autofilter for less than -$26763.59.

then there is conditional formatting, but i'm unclear as to what your final result should be.

I'm not quite an excel pro....the challenge that you replied to me with looks like a very similar problem. How do I use the macro given as the answer to the August challenge for my problem? Thanks
