Help with time values in a web query

I have been importing some data with a web query, 1 cell of the import contains Time of Possession,
the example below represents 29 minutes and 58 seconds.

When I look at the formatting for the cell containing 29:58:00, this is what the formatting reveals. ..... 01/01/1900 5:58:00 AM -

Time Of Pos. 29:58:00

I have tried changing the formatting to minutes and seconds, but that does not seem to be the right approach.

There is a second cell, that also contains a value reflecting minutes and seconds.

What I am trying to accomplish is getting both these values, so I can get the difference in minutes and seconds, between the two different cells. The time will always be in minutes and seconds, and never exceed that.

Thank you in advance

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
I cannot answer your question directly, however remember that Excel stores time/date values as a serial number from a set start date. not sure the of the starting date (it may be 1/1/1900), so Look into two functions: Timevalue and Datevalue.

They should provide your answers.

29:58:00 is 29 hours 58 minutes. If the times are in A1 and A2, try:

=A2-A1

to calculate the difference. Or for a VBA solution, subtract the cell values and use the Hour and Minute functions.
