Hi All

Not sure if you can help me here, but here goes.

I have an excel in (2007 v) which is doing "if statements" in each cell against a daily timeframe in row 1, sheet 2. Then looking up the data in a tabular form in sheet 1 to see if its a true and placing an "a" in the cel in Sheet 2 when it is returned true.

What I would now like to do is be able to colour all these different "a" depending on which set of columns they were located in, in sheet 1.

e.g.

my if formula:

=IF(OR(QE$2=Data_import!$K9,QE$2=Data_import!$L9,QE$2=Data_import!$M9,QE$2=Data_import!$N9,QE$2=Data_import!$O9,QE$2=Data_import!$P9,QE$2=Data_import!$Q9,QE$2=Data_import!$R9,QE$2=Data_import!$S9,QE$2=Data_import!$T9,QE$2=Data_import!$U9,QE$2=Data_import!$V9,QE$2=Data_import!$W9,QE$2=Data_import!$X9,QE$2=Data_import!$Y9,QE$2=Data_import!$Z9,),"a","")

But what I would like is that for example if it was true for column K=red L=green M=pink N=Yellow O=black P=blue etc etc

Is there any way of either doing a VBA case or a conditional formatting to carry out this task ??

Many thanks for your help

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
