Hi Guys,

I have a question about a merging two IF statements together using the result of the first statement in the second statement. I dont know if this is possible, but here it is.... In long-hand this is what i need Cell M15 to equal:

=IF(M21>N21, then M21, else N21, (and here is what i dont know how to merge this, but i want this also), =IF(021>result from first function/B15, then 021, else result from first function/B15.

Thanks for looking!

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
The first IF() is equivalent to:

Code:
=MAX(M21,N21)

So your final formula becomes:

Code:
IF(O21>MAX(M21,N21)/B15,O21,MAX(M21,N1)/B15)

Try

Code:
=IF(O21>IF(M21>N21,(M21/B15)),O21,IF(M21>N21,(M21/B15)))
