What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

SUMPRODUCT(('2006'!C3:300="1/1/2006")*('2006'!E3:E300="F/A"))

should be

SUMPRODUCT(('2006'!C3:C300="1/1/2006")*('2006'!E3:E300="F/A"))

you were missing the second C if that is exactly what you typed in.
